Mission Account Managers are motivated go-getters, keen listeners, multi-tasking chameleons, and strong client advocates. In this role, you'll contribute to the overall planning and strategy for multiple clients by guiding high-level brand goals throughout the stages of project development. You'll take part in our robust branding, web, and marketing processes, gain valuable insights by working with clients, and work closely with all creative roles in our agency. Most important, you'll be a trusted confidant to clients and a reliable true north to our internal teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the conception and creation of clients' brand strategy based on target audience insights and marketing trends
  • Participate in brand workshops with clients to assess their current brand goals and collaborate on future opportunities
  • Meet with clients and internal teams to strategize around specific marketing campaign efforts
  • Lead the research, development, and communication around multichannel marketing campaigns
  • Work directly with digital marketing team members to review overall campaign success and identify areas of improvement
  • Author creative briefs based on insights from the client, research, and internal teams to articulate the foundational strategy for every deliverable
  • Collaborate with Principals, Associate Directors, and Project Managers to ensure that the project details are clear and defined
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients, rooted in mutual trust and respect
  • Utilize project management system daily to define and monitor project scope, goals, tasks, timelines, and resources
  • Assist with prioritizing projects on a weekly basis with the account, project management teams, and department directors
  • Communicate weekly with the client on project status updates
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • 2+ years of agency experience as an Account Manager or similar strategic role
  • Understanding of brand strategy 
  • Knowledge of the general principles, best practices, and tools of marketing
  • Experience with traditional/digital marketing projects and digital development
  • Experience of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • BA or BS in Marketing, Communications or related area preferred
